"We stayed at this hotel for a friend's 70th birthday party that was being held close by. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant could use some additional staff at dinner time but my overall experience was good."

"First of all, the waterfront location is second to none - one of a kind. The view over the fjord towards i.a. the lights from Holbæk city. The service is top notch. The restaurant too. And the breakfast inviting and tasty. Local products in both the kitchen and among the drinks in the restaurant. See you again. As soon as possible. One note: very, very friendly prices, in general. "Stunning setting for this castle on a moat. We were delighted with our large comfortable room in the castle up on the 2nd floor with a fabulous view across the grounds, gardens and moat. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant was beautifully presented and served, and breakfast was especially excellent and thoughtful.Staff were kind and helpful and always gracious. The gardens were delightful, even in the pouring rain. Wish we could have stayed longer."
