"Great location downtown. The staff was excellent, kind, and very accommodating. The hotel is charming, although if you are older or have bad knees, getting out of the bed is very difficult due to how low to the ground it is. Also, the shower and bathroom walls are glass, so there is zero privacy and the whole room can watch you shower and use the toilet. Good to know if you are traveling with friends haha. I would stay here again."

"This is a gem of a hotel and would haven given it 5 stars like i usually do if it hadnt been for the restaurant being closed the entire time. It's true there are a lot of food options across the street but sometimes you want something quick and dont want to leave the hotel. I was feeling sick and i couldnt even get plain bread. "I would give it a 5 star for service were it not that when I requested a bottle of wine from the front desk at 1103 pm I was told that they were unable to sell any alcohol after 11 pm....which forced me to walk a mile round trip to Ralphs to buy a bottle, having returned from the Pasadena International Film Festival and wanting a bottle to unwind and reflect on film with coproducers"

"If you are a light sleeper ask for a lower floor. There is a rooftop bar and it creates a bit of noise for guests on the 6th floor. Otherwise an awesome stay just steps from the beach and tons of dining options within walking distance or a short Uber ride. Will definitely stay again next time. "

"Couldn’t decide between a few different areas and hotels but glad I chose Mayumi. Was really chilled, nice size room and super clean. I didn’t do anything in the surrounding area so can’t really comment but I felt safe there and the staff were friendly.
