"My son was in hospital in Pontivy following a motorcycle accident. I shared a room with his partner at the Hotel de l'Europe for nine nights. The staff, two sisters and cleaning ladies were all charming and helpful. The sisters spoke English, again so useful for us. The hotel is central and opposite a car park which was free except not available on Mondays for the weekly market. The hotel has a car park for โ‚ฌ8 a day. "The staff were very accommodating to our American family. They worked with our needs for an early breakfast start time due to a soccer tournament for our son. The manager spoke English very well and was patient with my broken French. The rooms were clean and bright. The location is nice for walking Pontivy and accessing the part of the city across the water. We will stay again if we are fortunate enough to revisit Pontivy. "
