"Overall, my stay at this property was better than expected. It was clear that the property has been recently updated so the accommodations are nice for the price point. However, I did have some complaints: there are very few amenities in the room (no coffee pot, no microwave, and no mini fridge, for example), there was only hand lotion and no hand soap at the bathroom sink, and the lighting was very poor. "This a rare property which is updated and has a great breakfast. We were staying for 2 nights with kids while we visited the Great Wolf Lodge. The only part which didn’t look new/updated was the bathroom/bathtub. The person who did our intake was very unfriendly. Not sure what was going on for her. However the person who was at breakfast/lobby area the next day was lovely. She said she was relatively new and just was hospitable in a way I haven’t experienced in a chain American hotel."
