"We loved this hotel! The staff was very accommodating and seemed vested in the success of our stay. We requested to change rooms at the last minute and it was changed without any questions. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The bar and common area just inside the front doors is amazing. You will not regret booking here! "

"This is a stately grand dame property that has been modernized. The room was quite good; the lobby was modern and austere juxtaposed on old and stately in a disconcerting manner. Staff were adorable. Location rocked!! Easy access to great restaurants and the WWI Museum as well as the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum. "

"We got last minute tickets to the Big 12 championship game and I figured we'd need to stay far away from the stadium or spend a fortune on something nearby. Hampton Inn blew me away. Nicely updated facility, right on the streetcar line, 5 minute walk to Power & Light district, free breakfast. Great value! "

"I've stayed here before but this room was much smaller. It is a very nice hotel with many conveniences although the coffee shop was not open when posted. It is connected to many shops and the link system allows for indoor walking to adjoining hotels and shops. Everything closes earlier than I would have preferred though."
