"This was a business trip and I only chose this place due to the fact it was really close to where I was going the following morning... what a great surprise. Comfortable accommodation, sensible cost and a fantastic breakfast in the morning. This is not like your typical chain-hotels. Much more personal and friendly for sure and run by a family, so if you're staying in these parts of the country you should definitely support-local and get yourself in here. "

"The hotel is lovely, beautiful setting, super friendly staff and both breakfast and dinner were great. We will be back! Only thing to improve are the pillows, they seemed a bit old and too hard. The hotel is walking distance to train station, very handy to see the area without the hassle to park car (like Matlock Bath or Matlock)."
