"Location is fantastic. In between Luxor temple and Karnak Museum ( to see mummy ) facing river. Strong odour and room is narrow. Cannot open up a mid size luagage bag. Breakfast not bad but orange juice is not pure and coffee diluted. Good security scanning at entrance. Value for money. "

"In overall terms my stay at the Nefertiti Hotel was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. On-site trip organiser and restaurant was an extra bonus. Great view of the Theban Hills from the roof-top. Cons: room was on fourth floor and no lift! Not ideal when you are nearly 70! Room was located next to the restaurant, so very noisy early morning and late nights. Facilities were basic but perfectly adequate."

"A fantastic location right on the Nile. Beautiful gardens. The property is showing its age, furnishings are old, the decor showing its age. Staff are terrific and are happy to help if you need them. Definitely would stsy again."
