"The stay overall was nice, but a lot of construction going on around the hotel which made traffic worse getting to and from the hotel. The staff was very nice and the facilities like spa & restaurants were clean. The morning breakfast spread had many options and food was really yummy. We stayed there for 4 days with kids aged 9 &11."

"Overall property was meticulous. Surprisingly, the room (suite 505) while clean and looked after appeared to contain millwork and finishes that were extremely dated, poorly maintained, and in desperate need of replacement. I am referring particularly to the closets, shelves, and built in furnishings. The room needed an upgrade!"

"great hotel in a great location. 2 minute walk to the station and half hour walk to dubai mall and burj khalifa. rooms are comfortable, secure and clean with great views. staff was fantastic - and shout out to the wonderful staff member who checked me in - kind, friendly, helpful and professional. surrounded by 2 hour coffee shops and easy access to everything. great hotel."

"While I can give 5 Stars to the staff, I was disappointed with the bathrooms and the lighting options within the rooms. We had 2 BR apartment suite and the second bathroom shower was way too small for someone to turnaround. In both the bathrooms the water from the shower was either too hot or too cold. Couldn’t get it right. Hope they fix it. Will I go back to sty there: yes!!"

Lots of restaurants across the street but one has to walk to the street corner (a bit of a distance) to get across the street). Concierge services and reception staff are superb. "I loved the cleanliness and attention to details in the hotel and rooms. The breakfast team was amazing and always catered to my Vegan diet but unfortunately, out of breakfast I couldn’t enjoy the other restaurants in the hotel because of the lack of Vegan options. The hotel itself and its facilities are beyond incredible in my opinion, just have more dietary options available for those of us who are Vegan!"

"Sofitel Dubai Downtown is in a great location downtown, in close proximity to the metro and the Dubai Mall. Great view of the city from our room. Fitness room, spa, pool, and breakfast were all highlights from our stay at the Sofitel. Staff were so attentive, friendly, and helpful. "

"Amazing hotel! The rooms are the cleanest I have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere in the world, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff are exceptional and everyone is so polite and helpful. They answer all your questions, help you with special requests like "sending the Rimowa luggage to the service centre", they book tours and give advice and really everyone there makes your stay really wonderful."
