"The stay was good. (With the exception of the tropical storm that ruined some of our plans. All mother nature and nothing to do with the property.) A few things can be updated in and around the property but all in all, it was a good stay. I would probably recommend to a few friends for when they head east. Property location gives easy access to main Portland offerings with a feeling of safety as well."

We absolutely loved our long weekend at Great Huts, so much so that we just hung out enjoying the beautiful lush jungle property and adjacent Boston Beach rather than venturing forth to see other sights in the area. This is not for you if you need luxury and a/c, but don’t hesitate if you love nature and being in the great outdoors, quirky artistic hut accommodation, good food and wonderful friendly staff. We especially loved the constant sound of the crashing waves that came with our fabulous Fig Tree hut. Thank you Roberta and everyone else at Great Huts for a truly unique experience."
