"The food in the restaurant was absolutely outstanding such a lovely venue and friendly staff, the rooms were beautifully presented however being such an old building it wasn’t noise proof so we could every movement during the night with squeaky floorboards and doors being banged, would stay again though."

"Nothing I didn't like! It was a most happy stay, Peter and Veryan are a delightful couple and excellent hosts. All the staff are helpful and cheerful. The lounge bar with it's beautiful open log fire is a truly comforting place to sit. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others."

"We stayed here for my husbands birthday weekend Joss welcomed us like family. The room and serivce was amazing We was made to feel so welcome. Joss had a card sent to our room for jons birthday Which was a lovely touch. The area is stunning and so quiet. "Had a nice stay and would stay again every one friends only down side at night it gets very cold in the room and to cold to shower in the morning if like me you have an early star and there is no door stop around the door on room 1 so when the is shut you can still out as well as see in not that any one would want to look at my naked body but it also lets in a lot of light from the hall if you like it dark when you sleep "

"The property is set in a very nice quiet location. Parking on the premises is easy. Upon arrival all staff were very welcoming, very pleasant and enthusiastic about what they do. "Loved the house and its beautiful original features. Our room was in the basement but had lots of light and our own door to use so felt like an apartment. Large room with tasteful decor and modern bathroom. Huge bed which was extremely comfortable so slept well for 3 nights we stayed .Hospitality tray well stocked .Breakfast was superb- locally sourced top quality ingredients, good choice, and staff helpful and friendly- nothing was too much trouble.
