"Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. "Lovely hotel for our overnight stay, staff very friendly. Restaurant was very good for our evening meal with a comprehensive menu. Only slight downside was they were doing some groundwork at the rear and side of the property so it was a little noisy early in the morning. "

"Food in the Orangery restaurant was great quality. Room was clean and comfortable but could maybe be doing with a little bit of renovation. Continental breakfast was of a good standard, cooked breakfast was varied with some items a little overcooked. Health suite facilities were of a good standard. Sauna and Steam room were of a decent size approx 8 people at a time in each. Changing rooms were a little tight if many people were in. Staff were pleasant, helpful and really great."

"The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry...

"The staff was so very kind from the moment we checked in til the very end. They were helpful in giving suggestions, directions and just overall kindness. "We had a twin room with a view of the sea and it was clean enough. There was black mould on the window frame. However the TV had no signal and although there was a telephone there was nothing to plug it into. We complained and they moved us to a lovely family room. "This is the perfect hotel if you are going to be in town for longer than a couple of nights. The kitchens are well-stocked and I loved being able to have food on hand for those late night excursions. There's a Tesco right around the corner. The location of the hotel is fabulous. Quiet off the beaten path a bit, around the corner from Hotenanny and St. Enoch's. Staff are kind and willing to help in whatever way possible. We've stayed at other hotels in Glasgow but this is now a favorite. The bathrooms are upgraded and the shower excellent. I do wish they cleaned the room everyday but that was a minor thing compared to all the benefits. Hightly recommend. "

Homely Hotel

"We had a lovely stay at the Duck Bay Marina, this is our second time staying at this hotel. The Hotel has been renovated since the last time we stayed. Our room was very comfortable and cosy. We were able to go from our room and see the lovely view of Loch Lomond. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. All staff were welcoming and friendly. We also had a really nice meal in the restaurant. "
