"The hotel is great for a quick trip to Liverpool and is in a great downtown location. It’s not well signposted and being downtown there’s lots of city noise. However we’ll come back again for the space and the massive breakfast!"

"I booked a studio room due to work commitments this weekend. Upon arrival I was told to go through all the lock boxes and just see which room was available. Owner confirmed all rooms are the same. The room had, a bed, a dresser and a wardrobe… that’s it. Kitchen was communal, as was the washroom?! Yes we had a key to the washroom but so did everyone else and we had to walk down a shared corridor to get to it. The entrance stunk of weed and cigarette smoke despite a clear “no smoking” clause...

"Came for my birthday. Spacious apartment, mostly clean except a lot of the cutlery & plates but I cleaned them myself. Unfortunately the refrigerator wasn’t working and I did let them know but nothing was done. Check in and check out was confusing and not reception to ask questions to so had to phone them up multiple times. I don’t believe I’ve had my security deposit back either and it’s been over a week now. Average place."

"Really lovely location. Super central Very open a spacious. I got it for me and my partner for the evening while visting friends. But could have easily had some children or another couple with us. The site was very clean, everthing was what we needed for the stay. Very happy overall, would stay at and use again "

"First time at Terlon, our usual haunt round the corner was full. Previous reviews were mixed, so wasn't sure what to expect, but it was definitely ok, a few piccy things that could have been better, such as a tea towel, ovenware and larger towels, but all in all, minor grumbles, and it was pleasant."

"Great apartment for heading out on Mathew street, right in the centre of Liverpool. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Only slight negative was the security staff with 1 of my friends, literally chatting away with them then 1 of them got quite aggressive. Wouldn’t stop us booking again, great trip👍 "

The wonderful Municipal Hotel and spa

"Second visit to the hotel in less than a year. Now our favourite hotel in Liverpool. Stunning building and professional and friendly staff on check in (Yolanda) What an entrance past the most beautiful flower arrangement through to the breathtaking atrium Palm court bar and restaurant area. Fabulous. clean. spacious room with an iconic view. Beautiful facilities in the room and bathroom. Pre theatre light dinner in the Palm court was made even better with a pianist and vocalist. Great nights sleep with the most amazing and lots of choice breakfast. Highly recommend and can't wait to revist. "
