"This property and staff were so great, their slogan is "experience private island living", and it is very true. We were prepared and had a wonderful time after reading previous reviews, we brought snacks and a water bottle and cash. Knowing it was very isolated, as such you are completely dependant on the resort for food, tours and transportation. There is no close towns and no nearby ATM. You will want to budget for airport shuttle about the amount of a night stay as it is 1.5 hours from...

"Exceptional service, great food and lovely cocktails. the dive shop was very professional. really unique beach rooms, but will mention only one of the two beds in the beach huts has air conditioning. that said, with the wonderful breeze, heat wasn't an issue. the transportation to and from the airport was great. a really special place."

"Things are a little further to walk to like restaurants and the coron town (15-20 Min) but there are trikes everywhere to transport quick, only 60 pesos pp. staff were very friendly. Anything we needed, the staff assisted. Booking tour excursions thru the hotel was very easy. Very calm and relaxing resort space. The only downside I would say is that the walls are very thin. You could hear people talking next door, laughing, sneezing. So if you want privacy… that may be a little tough. Otherwise...

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in store for something special... the restaurant and boats are quietly tucked into the cliffs, creating a serenely stunning atmosphere. Paulo was a fantastic host and it was inspiring to know that the project also benefits the Tagbanua tribe, many of whom are employed as staff.
