We spent the night at the Roost after a candlelight symphony. The hotel atmosphere in the evening is electric. They have a full bar and live music. It was a great experience.

Went here on a whim. Very nice place, very fancy. Was not expecting this level of quality for a reasonable price. The room was very nice I have never stayed in an apartment style room, but it was great. And the staff were very good. Would come again.

An amazing way to travel. All the amenities and privacy of home. The apartment design and decor is so tasteful. No detail was missed- right down to the umbrellas on a very rainy day. Atmosphere and drinks in both of the bars was top notch! We hope to have a chance to stay again.

We will stay in this hotel every time we visit Detroit. The convenience of the variety of restaurants and bars right in the hotel is amazing, the kitchenette in the room was perfect for us and it was so quiet! We had really high hopes for our first stay, the building, the room, the on site amenities were all amazing. However - this was the worst, most uncomfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. Even worse the bed frame was so poorly constructed that even the slightest movement in bed was aggressively loud. Instead of staying for breakfast or brunch, we got up exhausted with back pain and left early morning. Crazy it’s a long term stay option if they upgrade their mattresses and frames, this place would be a winner. Really disappointed.

Roost is a wonderful place to stay in downtown Detroit. Staff is super friendly and the apartment was clean and stylish. Location is walkable to many restaurants, bars, Ford Field…Go Lions! The list goes on and on. We’ve already booked Roost again for the next game. Can’t wait!
