"Hotel was great , staff from reception through to the bar/ waiting and to housekeeping were so lovely. All were very efficient. "Upon walking in to the foyer it is very evident that this hotel used to be grand and glamorous. The foyer area is dated but well maintained. We had to change bedrooms three times until we found a room with an air con that worked well enough. However, the renovated room was very pleasant and the mattress comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful—no fault there at all! However, the prices of things is outrageous. A buffet breakfast is $32.00 and buffet dinner is $37.00. If you need...

"The property is in a gated community and very quiet.The backyard is beautiful! I was the only one staying that night. It's a three bedroom, three bath house with very comfortable seating areas inside and out. Staff prepared a delicious steak dinner with fresh made fries and salad. Since I was leaving early, they prepared a breakfast to go. I would definitely stay at Sunbird Guesthouse again!"
