"Beautiful grounds around the hotel. Room was very nice and bed very comfy. Lots of parking available too. Bar service was good and quick. Few downsides to the hotel though. Not really anything around it and the prices in the hotel are very high. Also, whilst waiting to check in, the receptionists were discussing other guests and called one of the a ‘pain in the ass’ before acknowledging we were waiting to check in which is highly inappropriate."

"Lovely quiet arra to rest durung business trips, but paying for additional room space wasnt worth it as i had trouble getting in and out the shower due to the door being tight to the toilet. The restaurant also seems to have gone down hill and i was served almost burnt and greasy chips with my gluten free meal"

"The staff in this hotel were just outstanding. My father had passed away and my sister and brother both stayed the night of the funeral and honestly they made our stay better. It was spotless and they have the comfiest beds. Going back in May. "

"Really happy with the welcome from the reception, The ambiance of the hotel was excellent. Parking was easy too. We got a drink at the bar but all the tables were set up with cutlery and menus. The seating was set up for dining only, I would have preferred a comfy armchair, or a ‘snug’ to rest in after a busy day. We had no choice but to go back to our room. There was a room with 4 chairs. But not at all welcoming. Detached and cold, One felt as though you were in the naughty room. Lovely nights...

"I’ve stay at this hotel when it had the previous owners. Even know it’s in a middle of having a refurbishment the hotel was extremely clean and tidy, only one problem was the pillows being extremely thin. It was a really nice touch to have a kettle in the room but maybe have spoons instead of wooden sticks. But apart from that it’s all coming along nicely, i definitely prefer the key card instead of an actual key. Me and my partner will be back!"
