"Beautiful place. People were wonderful. Pricing for food and drinks expensive, but seems to be the case in CR. Wish they better lighting in bath and makeup mirror. Glad I brought one. "

"Another really enjoyable stay at Oceano. Very good location 5 mins walk from the Main Street in Jaco so away from the night time noise. The hotel is very nice, accommodation in good condition, very clean and comfortable. The room allocated was spacious and had all the facilities I required for a 4 day stay. The hotel has a gym and pool area which are both very good. I used each every day. The restaurant provides breakfast (a wide variety). The cafe in the hotel provides food and drinks during the day and evening (up to 9 I think). All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, courteous and professional. If you wish to go on an excursion during your stay there is a local guide based in the hotel who can advise. I went on one of the tours and it was good value. I would definitely recommend the Oceano to anyone visiting Jaco. "

"The hotel was full of trees and plants and wildlife so nice. The food was good and the staff were excellent. The local bus could be caught nearby to the National Park or Quopos for under £1 and was frequent. Outside the hotel we saw sloth with baby and Tucans in the trees. Downside was that outside there were only occasionally places to walk down the road no footpaths so we chose restaurants close by during the day and taxi at night. I would go back to this hotel loved it. There is a small supermarket next door which was handy. Saw many iguana’s in the hotel plus monkeys and a leemar visiting so lovely to see"

"We first stayed at the Marriott Los Suenos twenty years ago. We came twice then and loved it. We came for the sport fishing and were not disappointed. The marina then was small and we had great access to all the sport fishing boats but now it has gotten very exclusive and if you’re not actually on a boat, you can’t access the docks. The hotel was smaller then but fantastic. It has gotten bigger but not better. The staff was great but the tile floors make the hallways noisy and people talking out in the hall woke me up very early every morning. The room was comfortable and we liked it but the food in the restaurants was mediocre. The coffee shop did have great coffee and pastries and we enjoyed breakfast there more than in the restaurant. I wish I had more positive things to say because it has always been one of my favorite places. We went fishing, had a great time and did catch some fish but I miss the old Los Suenos. It’s such a great location and a great place to fish that I guess the change is inevitable"
