"It was an adventure finding Belmesnil at night without GPS signal. We checked in late after resolving a minor confusion with our reservation. Found out that we had the entire chateau to ourselves for the night. My wife was afraid of ghosts but if there were any at Belmesnil, they were of the most welcoming and considerate kind. The owner personally welcomed and took us to our suite which was spacious and luxurious.  The attention to detail of what it offered was extraordinary and the room was extremely quiet.  For breakfast, we had croissants and coffee-- the very best croissants in all of France and the coffee was superb! "We stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe room in the wing by the Restaurant. Parking was arranged and a car charge with no fuss. Room was airy and gave a good view over the Estuary. Breakfast was in the main house and was an excellent spread. All the staff were very helpful. We did not use the spa as it was currently under renovation.
