"Beautiful property. Amenities were supposed to open at 7:30am but didn’t until almost 8. No coffee available before that except the in room machines. Very disappointed as an early riser to find nothing available either free or for purchase until 8am. Wouldn’t choose this location again as a result. "

"I’ve been going and staying at this property for years. It is well located convenient to everything. Staff is good. Hotel does the need an update with furniture carpeting they’ve had the same dining room tables for over 20 years. Building is clean though. I will return once again be nice to have some updates to the interior though"

"For our 25th anniversary we chose Newport, RI for a getaway. As first time visitors, we researched options and chose the Vanderbilt because it seemed central in location and the fact there were onsite spa services and good bar. This first choice was fortunate because we then met Morgan, the lead concierge. I booked the hotel and then immediately emailed re:spa services. Morgan called within 5 minutes of my email to book our appts and then proactively offered other services, ideas, and resources....
