"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. "Lovely hotel set in the hills above the lake, with great views of the surrounding peaks, very comfortable room with a great balcony. There's a rooftop bar and restaurant which was lovely, plus a ground floor bar, restaurant and infinity pool. Breakfast was delicious with great choices and good coffee! This is a great location for the Temple of the Tooth and for walking around the lake and also for going to the Culture Centre to see the Kandyan dancing.
