Really handy for everything all the rooms are big and spacious with a bath and shower in all of them, they also have sky sports there so if your a sporting fan like myself they always feature the main event. "Had a lovely 1 night stay at this historic hotel. The interiors are dated but that is part of the charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. The room and bed were comfortable, but the kettle was a bit rubbish and not convenient to use (it was connected to the plug which was behind the television) The breakfast was pretty average, not the best but you had enough options. Overall we enjoyed...

"This hotel is a gem! It's in a lovely location and the staff are fantastic - so helpful and friendly. They were also great with our dog. The on site restaurant has a varied menu and the food is excellent. The rooms themselves are also comfortable and there is plenty of parking on site. We had a fab stay and would love to return."
