"The hotel canceled on me before my trip and never reimbursed me. Sad to know they have hurricane damage but you can’t just take people’s money without providing a service. They sent me this message, “Hello Expedia Traveler, It is with sadness that we alert you the Plaza Resort and Spa has sustained significant damage from Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Nicole. "This is the second time we have stayed at the Pier House Resort. The location is perfect right on Duval Street but at the end so it is private and quiet. They have their own private beach which is also wonderful. Our favorite thing is the restaurant though. The food is delicious and you can eat inside or outside looking at the bay. It’s beautiful!"

"One of the best resorts that I have stayed in! Food options are great! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The trolley will take you to near by attractions and restaurants for free! The beach is fantastic with no issues getting a chair (which is no charge). Pools are just as great! "

"Rooms were good size and clean. We always appreciate a fridge in the room and loved the complimentary water bottles! The skin and hair products were great for use in the very ample bathroom! While we didnt have an opportunity to use the pools, we had a view of them from our ro They were clean and beautiful. Having an on-site Starbucks is fabulous but we walked across the parking lot to the little pastery shop nearby for some spectacular breakfast items! We did use the buffet one morning but found it too spendy for the appetites of women... "
