"The Orla is one of THE best places you can stay if you want to be near the beach. It is literally across from the famous Copacabana - you can walk there in a minute! Don't think you'll get a great view from your hotel window, however; there are a limited number of rooms overlooking the ocean, but the room we stayed in was still very nice, as was the hotel staff.
