"In many ways, a standard business hotel--but one in an exotic and interesting location. My room was fine, but the views of the lake and the hills/mountains opposite were really nice. Just be sure to keep your sliding doors locked: there really are monkeys and they really can get onto your balcony -- even though that looks impossible at first! "The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. "The place was well looked after, but not close to town. The staff were great. Only complaint would be the breakfast was not a buffet. You had to order it the day before. This is not a reflection of the hotel but a lot of monkeys. Do not leave anything outside. My aunt had a top and make up bag stolen. They can open doors as well. Must leave your balcony door locked."

"We only had one night in Kandy on this trip. The Radh is positioned within a couple of minutes walk of the sacred tooth temple and so was ideal. The staff were all very.pleasent and helpful, right from check-in until we checked out. The rooms and facilities were great. Shame we didnt have longer to enjoy this wonderful hotel. "
