Bugs crawling on the pillow. Did get another room. The hotel is run down. Would like money back but said since I went through Expedia online I could not get money back. It was a horrible stay and my family will drive to Rapid City before ever staying in Sturgis. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone either.

I found a bed bug, a springe in a a small purse, dirty rug and a pealing ceiling in the bathroom. The steamer used for breakfast still had water droplets when I checked in at 3:30. I did not eat their eggs or sausage because of that. I had a beagle wuth cream cheese only.

Our stay at Days Inn was very comfortable. We were there to visit relatives and attend a class reunion. The hotel met our needs quite well and did not have an offensive smell that one of the neighboring hotels did when we stayed there 6 months ago. They even pleasantly accommodated me when I made an unusual request. We would definitely stay there again.

Light switches were filthy- bed side table was dirty- room was on 2nd floor but theres no elevator so have to haul luggage up the stairs. Smokers were all sitting at front entrance so had to walk through that nastiness as well

I booked AND paid for a downstairs room on December 10th and got a 2nd floor room. Either Hotels.com doesn't forward requests or the hotel management is too ignorant to read them. This was day 4 of a 22 day trip. I'm dragging every piece of luggage and personal items up and down those stairs. In the future, I will try to only book hotels with an elevator, or book direct and confirm downstairs. The hotel would have been a 7 to 8 if they had not messed up the reservation. The breakfast was better than expected.
