"We had a wonderful time at the Avila. It exceeded our expectations. The private beaches are small, but beautiful and did not feel crowded, even during peak season. the pool was nice too. The whole hotel and grounds were vey well maintained. We especially enjoyed the snorkeling in the calm, clear water. Breakfast buffet was great and offers a wide variety of options with slight variations every day. We had one meal at The Pen and one meal at Blues. These were ok, but not great. There are many better options for dinner within a short walking distance. We would definitely choose this hotel again. "

"This place was everything I needed, a place to shower, a place to sleep and it’s centrally located. It wasn’t the most extravagant place I’ve ever stayed but it’s exactly what I expected for what I paid."

"Only issue I could bring up, was that I was originally led to believe that The Rif was the adult only. But in their notes, they outline that they consider any paying occupant an adult. Other than that, no complaints with staff or the facilities."
