"The hotel was exactly what we wanted, which was a convenient, clean & safe place to stay while we visited the surrounding area. We simply slept & showered there - we didn't use any of the other facilities. I rated it as "Good" for cleanliness - It only lost merit because the room wasn't services on 2 occasions during our stay (on one of these occasions, I asked for it to be services late afternoon & when we returned after dinner it had been done). We had dinner either in La Linea or Gibraltar...

"The Eliott was perfect for us - a clean, spacious room with easy late check-in, great central location, and convenient parking. We needed a portable bed, which they quickly provided, and the room did not feel crowded. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool, sun deck, lobby/bar, and outdoor patio are lovely. If you're scrolling through endless options for places to stay in Gibraltar, I highly recommend choosing The Eliott. I am so glad I did!"

"I was expecting upgrade of the rooms due to hotel was closed for few weeks in January, but the was not. Will not be easy for the to keep the standard when you have 2 more 4 star next to the hotel. But the breakfast is the best in Cadiz "

"Although we were aware that the hotel was closing we still expected 4 star accommodation as that is what we paid for. The pool and terrace area were in a very bad state of disrepair and the pool area unusable. We asked for an upgrade to a sea view as there road works at the front of the building and therefore noisy but were told ( 6 hrs after asking and having to ask again)that no rooms were available although the hotel was clearly far from busy. "Truthfully, there were moments I could have given this place one star but Pablo was amazing and made fabulous breakfasts. There was a sewage smell in our bathroom both mornings that was unpleasant but everything else, especially Pablo, was wonderful. It is definitely a quirky place but adorable. "
