"Beautiful older hotel but you can tell it’s been recently renovated. Great area, plenty of things to do and see nearby. Penn Station right out the front door. Amazing staff. Two restaurants on site. For the $ you can’t beat the New Yorker. "

"We enjoyed our 5-night stay to see Broadway shows. Hotel is a few blocks from Grand Central Station, where there is a MTA shuttle train to Times Square. We also had the option to walk there. Room was comfortable, and we could not hear the occupants of adjacent rooms. Loved the complementary beverages from the bar; we carried them to our room a couple of nights. While the only breakfast option was a $45 buffet, there is a sandwich shop next door with fresh and hot foods and a decent latte. "
