"This property was a very pleasant surprise for us as it was very unique, very cozy and located in Old Town. The host and hostess were extremely wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed during our 3 night stay. The breakfasts that they provided were over the top. "Masseria San Michele has to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. From all the little design touches to the gorgeous breakfast spread, the sweetest dogs and little cat, and the pool area - everything was perfect! "Since the first night, the air conditioning system was broken so when we turned it on it started leaking. There was a lot of water on the floor after only short use. The landlord didn’t send plumber to fix it so we had to mop the floor every morning after 3 nights the plumber fixed and Mario did not keep his words to move us to other rooms. "The room was nice and the location was great. However, we had a hard time finding it. The address provided is a restaurant. The actual location is on a side street near the restaurant. The listing also said a free breakfast would be provided, which was not offered. "If you want to have a cute , 2 bedroom apartment and spend the night in a trulli, then this is your place! The owner was on property to greet us and hand deliver fresh pastries in the morning. Our refrigerator was supplied w yogurts, Nutella, and jams. It was very close to dining, the market, and the historic area of Alberobello. "
