There are many restaurants at a walking distance and the hotel has a good and convenient restaurant on the first floor. WiFi may be weak in the rooms but if you need to download a film just walk down to the lobby. El Cuyo is a relaxing place and definitely this hotel helps to wind down. "

"Very nice place decent location but unfortunately when they electricity goes out, they don’t have back up generators and it’s really hot and muggy in your room. They give you a candle but with no lighter to turn it on I think for the amount of money you spend it should have a little back up generator to have the AC working. They only have a generator working on the common areas as in kitchen and bar. I guess they do that to keep the revenue coming in. "

"Newer boutique hotel. Very clean. Very kind and accommodating staff. A few steps from the beautiful, mostly empty beach. They have starlink WiFi service which is a plus. Restaurant is delicious. "

"It was an amazing experience ! First of all, El Cuyo is super cute and the people there are all extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s a tiny village where everyone knows each other, the energy is just superb. I also recommend eating ceviches, pulpo and tacos in those little « tiendas ». Davide (the hotel owner) is extremely friendly, as well as all his staff. He made sure I was having a nice time all through my stay, which I really appreciated it as a solo woman traveler. I cant recommend it...

"Our room was right beside the restaurant so it was quite noisy till about 11pm. Felt a bit claustrophobic in the room. We will not stay there again. Food at the restaurant was pretty good and the staff was very pleasant and warm."

"Lovely hotel steps from the beach (there are no beach clubs in El Cuyo so this is as close as it gets!). Room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony with a hammock and a roof terrace with amazing sunset views. Staff at the hotel were really helpful and the food is good, especially the paella nights. If you want to relax and explore then El Cuyo is a great place and this hotel is a great place to stay."

Very good hotel, friendly service but a bit pricey

"I had an excellent stay. Location is great. Beach is beautiful. Room was large and bed was very comfortable. Only improvement point is that the ceramic tiles in the shower were not so clean. Room a bit pricey for its simplicity but it is Holbox."

"Nice hotel on the beachfront and well located vis-a-vis rstaurants. Internet service was good. The staff is nice and friendly, in particular in the restaurant. The only negative point I could make is regarding the restaurant which closes around 6 or 6:30 pm, whoch means no possibilities to have dinner."
