"The overall looks of the property is very nice and the dining area with the breakfast option was all very well put together. My only grip is one of the days of the week I was there. I was down with my one year-old baby girl, and I ordered a Caesar salad. Apparently I did not pay for it and I assumed it was going to be charged to the room. "Great experience. We were in Dublin due to a family funeral. The 'afters' was at the Talbot and we booked bedrooms there as well to make all the transitions easier. Staff were wonderful and empathetic, allowed us to check in early to get ready for the services. Rooms were very comfortable, had everything we needed. Sunday carvery was very family oriented (you need to book though!), and breakfast/lunch/dinner options hit the mark. It's right across the road from Aircoach stop so easy to get to...

"We needed to be close to St. Vincent's for family reasons. This hotel was a short walk away, and easier to park our car than going to the hospital! Rooms were clean, great views, a nice buzz around the place as it was the week of Young Scientists and there were many attendees staying there also. Food options were OK, overall the place leaned more into a corporate than tourist vibe with everything you might need without being overly unique."

"Had a lovely stay . Had some issues with our booking , we booked a room with a queen bed and single bed but forgot to include our 2 15 year olds in our booking . On contacting Expedia they requested cancellation and re booking instead of just including them in the booking . The price had changed significantly. It was quite annoying and took us 2 hours to sort , in the end the hotel itself kindly looked after us and not Expedia ."

"Another great stay at the Clayton Burlington Road (we stayed here 3-4 times now) and have enjoyed the location, staff, etc every time— that said, we did have an issue with our heating, which the staff were very kind about in trying to fix, but unable to remedy the air system, leaving us with a very, very warm hotel room (80 degrees) for the duration of our stay"

The location wasn't ideal after we'd stayed earlier in the city center - very limited dining and pub options; you need to drive/cab to places that have more options. "It is made in an interesting style that takes you back many years. Unfortunately, it is not well maintained. There were some details that need to be fixed. Stained paint, water dripped from the lamp in the bathroom on the last day. Also, when I wanted to leave my suitcase a few hours earlier, you wrote to me that I could do it. The receptionist told me that she could not. When I showed her the email from you, she agreed that it was possible"

"Stayed 5 days after Christmas and over New Year holiday. Everything was top notch. Room was a bit on smaller side, but appointments and cleanliness were exceptional. Excellent friendly service. Neat to stay in such a historical building. The breakfast each morning was spectacular. Beds are luxurious. Great quiet location a block or two off St. Stephens Green and right in the middle of everything. Look forward to returning in a few months. "

"I traveled down from Belfast and stayed the night here before my flight out the next day. The checkin was easy, room was clean, and it was an easy walk to terminal 2. The restaurant was delicious for dinner and I enjoyed a cocktail after. My stay included breakfast the next morning which was a hot bar and cold bar…the eggs and sausages were yummy! "
