"What a wonderful hotel! The front desk staff are amazing! We had an issue unrelated to the hotel (crashed iPhone) and they worked with us while we got it resolved. We so appreciate their kindness. "Thon Opera was perfectly located- steps from Oslo Central so a 2 minute walk from the Flytoget. We went to the ballet at the opera house one night and that was just a three or four minute walk. The breakfast was amazing in the huge number of choices, all very good. The room was large, very clean, and well lit and there were lots of usb ports. "

"My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at Thon Hotel Cecil. The young women at reception were fantastic and so kind and helpful. We had a couple minor issues with our room we didn't notice until the first morning, but when we told reception, they gave us a time they would look at the problems (also informed we could switch rooms if the issues weren't solvable). "Love that this hotel is connected to the train station. So convenient. We arrived at 10:30pm from our Norway in a Nutshell tour and just walked a little to get to the hotel, and then in the morning it was just a hop, skip and a jump to get to the airport train. Breakfast buffet had a good selection, although we like to toast our bread, and there wasn't a toaster. Staff was super friendly and helpful. If you get a room looking out towards the Munch Museum, the view is incredible!"
