"We had a bit of a tough experience. The staff was very nice, however the experience was all around hard. We booked because it had free parking & free breakfast, however the parking is over a 5 min walk to the hotel (and another 3 flights up to the room with no elevator). Lord help you if you have heavy luggage or an injury. We learned this after trying to follow Google maps and nearly getting our car stuck in the small streets of the walking-only town. "Excellent place to stay. We had a 'self-catering' apartment at La Maison aux Bonsais. The sign on the door says 'Guest House'. The owner Luc (and his son Michael) were very welcoming. When we arrived the fridge and pantry were well provided, basically giving us breakfast for our five day stay (with a short walk to the nearby boulangerie). "Holiday trip. Nice staff, very friendly and helpful. The morning buffet was great and the restaurant offers a nice menu in a winter garden ( atrium). The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The only blemish is that the hotel is dated with old carpets and furnishings."

"We were very happy saying at this lovely little hotel. We just stayed one night but you cannot beat the convenience; it is sensitive situated right off the main square in downtown. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff, especially Douglas, were very polite and hospitable. The room rate was very affordable. We're happy to recommend this hotel to anyone searching for budget accommodations in Vence."
