"The property was fabulous. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and each bedroom had it's own bathroom. It was nicely furnished. We didnt cook, but all the necessities were there. The grounds were amazing! There were wonderful hiking trails and a lookout where you could see to the Pacific Ocean. There was a hydroponic garden where you could pick vegetables. My grandson loved the hammock on the deck. The whole experience was so peaceful. I highly recommend this property! "

"Very well run operation by Yami and her family. They treated us like family. I recommend you opt in for the delicious breakfast each morning. Also visit the restaurant close by also run by the family for great food located in a beautiful setting. 15 minute drive to Santa Elena is a good trade off for the peace and quite and authentic Costa Rica experience of this place. "

"What a great place to stay. We travelled with 2 adults and our 17 & 15 year old kids and everyone loved it, and were sad when it was tying to go. The only thing I would change is we stayed in the Monteverde house and the trees about the main suite hit the roof all night when it was windy, but not a big deal at all! Highly recommend!!"

"We spend 2 nights at Chira Glamping. The pod is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the jacuzzi listening to the birds. Perfect! We dined at their restaurant on our first night which was spectacular. Breakfasts were relaxed. We also used the concierge service to book a night walking tour and a cloud forest tour. We enjoyed these experiences greatly."

"This family run hotel business is in rural part of Costa Rica. We were very delighted to stay at this hotel as we prefer quite surrounding and away from the busy town area. We have been treated very well above the call of host hostility expected. The young Lady Manager Milena was very helpful and we were delighted to see speak to her and she accommodated our needs very well with professionalism and enthusiasm to please us. "Never again. We had to leave 2 days early and try to find another place on high season for my party of 8 because of over booking. The service was just terrible. To bad, because the area was great. Dont rent from this place."

"This property has excellent potential, but currently is overpriced. We had no tv while there, internet was down second day due to changing providers, not enough dishes to feed 5 people, only one ratty dish towel, lawn chairs instead of real indoor seating. Beds were comfortable but some sheets had holes in them. If you like rustic this is perfect. The cabins are set back in the woods making it feel you are out in the woods. "This property is a great place to stay but it definitely needs an upgrade. It's like stepping back into the late 70s and 80s. The views were amazing and the activities they have on the property are great but do costs, and as much as you wanna belive that all Central America is cheap, Costa Rica is not. So be ready to shell out the cash for extra curricular activities as if you were back in the US."
