"We had a lovely weekend stay at the Angel Inn in Chippenham. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed. The room we booked was large and airy with a large king-size bed, a settee and a large bathroom. However, everything in the room was tired. One of the trims on the old wardrobe was coming off leaving sharp pins exposed. The settee was hard and uncomfortable as was the bed which was very firm. "Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

"Beautiful Manor Hotel in the most picturesque village set in the hills of the Cotswolds. The staff did everything to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Walking trails were close to hotel and beautiful. Golf course was excellent and golf club was great food and service. We will definitely be back."
