"Lovely apartment in great location next to city centre. The owner had an issue with previous guests who trashed the apartment, however when we arrived the apartment was clean and in great condition. Only issue was a slight dampness to couch due to him having to clean because of previous users. This would not put me off using this apartment again, thank you for the use of your apartment"

"Although the Harvard Inn was busy with Sunday diners we were greeted warmly and efficiently. Arriving slightly before check in our room No 9 was ready. First impressions were positive. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Absolutely no complaints about bedroom or bathroom facilities. Only comment would be room was very hot, bathroom window could only be opened slightly (due to hooks in the wrong position) and the lack of a box of tissues. "We were the only guests Limited staff Despite being only guests we couldn’t extend our departure We had wanted to stay until closer to midday as we were attending a midday funeral but house keeping needed to clean room for later incoming guests In the end we sat in Costa to kill time"

Feels like being on Sydney Harbour 😎

"We have been coming to the Doubletree docklands for years now with our whole family- but In Recent years have been splurging out and booking the junior suites- as they are so worth it! The best thing hands down about this hotel is its location looking out over the river to Canary Wharf. By day you can hear the waves of the tidal Thames lapping at the shore, the sounds of the ferries going past and see the sun glinting off the buildings. I’m from Sydney and it’s the closest I’ve come to -being the other side of the world- to Sydney harbour and the ferries! On a sunny day I can almost imagine I’m back at home on the harbour! The urban beach here adds to that feel, but if you can afford to splurge - the junior suites have balconies that open to the front and look out over the river- it’s gorgeous. The food has by far improved in the restaurant since the last time we came , but in particular the service from the very friendly and hardworking staff is outstanding. Our room was clean and spacious and the beds and In Particular the pillows were really comfortable. The final cherry on the top is that there is a complimentary ferry from Canary Wharf to the hotel dock on the other side- which very soon will be upgraded to being electric! Overall my fave place to stay in London by far 😍"
