"The pool was closed due to another guest’s disrespect but the staff were so apologetic & kept us updated. We had to leave early in the morning one of our days so they packed us a sweet breakfast before it opened. Also, employees that you recognize from your stay last year, is key for our children’s comfort. "

"What an absolute gem! Why anyone would stay near the highway for more is beyond me. Perfectly comfy bed. They provide earplugs for some of the train traffic, but it's generally quiet. It is within walking distance to other spots downtown or the excellent local grocery store! Yummy coffee is provided in the morning, a bakery on the spot, and a fantastic dinner joint (pork belley confit...amazing fried chicken, but always rotating...). "I really wanted to love this hotel but my room smelled weird, it was tidy but not really clean. The only heater I could find was a wall heater in the bathroom on a timer which didn’t keep the chill out of the room with an outside temp of 22 degrees. I couldn’t find any extra blankets which would have helped quite a bit. Overall my experience was satisfactory and I would recommend the hotel for travelers due to convenience, price and supporting an independent family business. "

"Good for a last minute one night stay. You get what you paid for. Cheap stay means no high end breakfast or everyday room service but it’s quiet, close to everything and the breakfast is more grab and go then sit and dine also, don’t expect vending machines either. luckily there’s a gas station in walking distant for late night snacks or drinks."

"It’s a lovely vintage hotel in the heart of old Centralia. The manager is so kind and helpful attending to every detail. The rooms and the whole hotel are spotless and comfortable. I recommend this to anyone wanting a unique experience. "

"All the amenities listed on Hotels.com were nonexistent. It was advertised to have an indoor heated swimming pool and full hot breakfast. The hotel did have a swimming pool, but they did not have permits to let guests use the pool nor did they have permits to serve food so there was no food no coffee, not even an ice machine. No coffee pot in room in the room. They didn’t even have cups in the room to pour our own beverage that we had to bring ourselves. "
