"Just a short walk from Pasar Seni station (itself only 1 stop from KL Sentral) it's in an excellent location - Central Market is across the road, Petaling Street even closer. Merdeka 118 being so close was a surprise. Being right on the edge of Chinatown you are spoilt for choice when it comes to food, and there are many hidden speakeasy bars. The hotel is beautifully restored; we had an Urban room which was spacious and very comfortable. All the staff are polite and friendly. Special mentions...

"Parfaitement situé dans le quartier chinois pour découvrir KL, ou aller dîner à pied dans little india, cet hôtel bien au calme offre une terrasse originale avec douche et toilettes extérieures, c'est sympa. "Opus residences are an amazing complex with 2 swimming pools, mini golf, gym, rock climbing, supermarket, jacuzzi…but in a 3 night stay we had no housekeeping in our apartment at all (despite contracted), we had 2 towels for a 3 person apartment that were never replaced in 3 days. Find accommodation in Opus residences but with a better management company."

"Overall a nice experience for short birthday staycation with my son. Room is on the small side but equipped with all basic amenities needed. Small problem maybe is ants in room after I left donut overnight not securely wrapped. Love the rooftop swimming pool level, small but with nice view of kl city. Lobby area is lovely too, has nice welcoming feel to guest. Reception staff pleasant & with smiles. We would love to come again next time."

"Our family with two kids had a staycation here during a public holiday. To our surprise, husband and I agreed that the beds were not comfortable at all for such a luxurious and reputable hotel. "Great stay at Chill Suites. Checkin went smoothly and quickly. Staff were on hand via watsapp if needed. Room was very clean when we arrived and cleaned thoroughly on request. Air conditioning worked well. Great location for Jalan Alor street, LaLaport mall and Berjaya Times Square a 10mins walk. Hang Tua station lees than 10 mins away and is the nearest station. "

"This was an OK stay, as it was a good location and did the job for me to sleep and store my things, but I will not be back again. The first room I was assigned to smelled very musty and my bed wasn’t cleaned with new sheets, so I had to go to the reception to get a new room assignment. They don’t give you a top sheet for the bed, but the fitted sheet to cover the mattress had stuff on it — a small rubber piece, fuzz and hairs. They give just a thin blanket which I questioned its cleanliness...

"The interior design of the bedroom beautifully showcases the essence of Kuala Lumpur with artful touches inspired by the city’s heritage and modern charm. The room was a perfect mix of comfort and creativity, featuring a plush bed and is spacious enough.However, the staff at the reception fell short of expectations. They lacked the warmth and welcoming smiles that are typically expected in hospitality. This initial interaction slightly dampened the otherwise stellar experience and is an area for improvement."

"Check in started at 2pm, the front desk seem a bit stressed, our room was only ready at almost 4pm. It’s an old building with a not so “driver friendly” parking lots. The 2 bedroom suites was spacious , the kitchen has all the things you need for cooking. At night the streets here can be heavy traffic, so plan your activities. Overall I think I would give a 7/10. If you are couple looking to get romantic honeymoon feel then you will get disappointed. "
