"Hotel was alright to stay in for short stays. The airconditioning was controlled by staff at reception. As it went down to almost 7 to 9°C in the night, they turned off all airconditioning and required guests to all use another inlet which brings in air from outside. Superb idea, but wished it was conveyed to us beforehand. The first staff member was a tad rude by ignoring me when I told her it was stuffy on the 1st night. "Since we were traveling with our baby, we couldn’t climb Taishan. So we wanted a nice view of the beautiful mountain during the trip, and the hotel room had what we wanted. Breakfast was below our standard—both western and Chinese didn’t meet five star level, I think. Many praised its proximity to Wanda plaza and we made it there, too. But remind that hotel is not directly connected to the shopping mall and you still need to walk outside for 4-5 min."

"Liked- Good location, spacious room and excellent staff behaviour. Reasonably good spread for breakfast. Disliked- The property is old and seemed to be a little short of maintenance. A little more attention can be given towards cleanliness. Breakfast was good but whatever else we ordered was not as good like everywhere else in China."

"This is a family visit. The hotel is located near Changle park(old 动物园). There is a subway station right outside the hotel. There are a lot of subway lines build recently at Xian. It is very convenient to travel around city with subways. At hotel's parking lot, there is bus station for buses to Xian Xianyang airport. In short, the transportation is very good. The room has two full beds and one added single bed for 3 persons, with free bottle water, umbrella which I do not remember I see at US'...

"The staff at the hotel were super friendly. We were traveling with 2 young children. Upon our arrival, they gave us a free upgrade to a larger room to make the stay more pleasant. Hotel is located in the city centre, which makes traveling super convenient. The staff at the concierge even gave us a cute handdrawn map for tourist attractions and local food. Absolutely loved it!"

"I've rarely bothered to leave reviews of hotels, but my experience here left me quite furious. I stayed in the hotel in October, so not so hot outside. However it was VERY hot in my room, at one point it was 27c. Clearly the Air Con wasn't functioning so I asked reception. They sent a technician who proceeded to LIE about the situation saying it would take time to cool down. Eventually they admitted that they had turned off the Air Con for the whole hotel to save money and gave me a cooling...

"The rooms are big and majestic and worth the amount paid per day just to come back to a relaxed environment after a long day of touring. The balcony excess and view from the Red Level was awesome but it is a pity that it is too cold in early December to be outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great hotel to stay

"There is free laundary with detergent, endless water bottle for consumption and the breakfast is very good. Proximity to Bell and Drum tower and other amenities makes our stay an enjoyable experience. I will stay again if back in Xian."

"Loved our stay at this hotel. Probably the most comfortable bed ive ever slept it. Pillows were the best comfort as well. Huge shower too. Room was quiet. Staff was very friendly. "
