"We loved the kangaroos who visited at dusk & dawn, as well as the resident kookaburra and tiny birds. The bush views from the back windows were soothing and private. The villa was spacious & well furnished, but being warmed by the open fire was just lovely. "

"A clean and tidy motel with basic but adequate facilities. Good value. Convenient breakfast. A good spot to stop en route. 8 year old reports that his “bunk bed was squeaky but it had a playground and lots of space and needs more playground equipment” and gives 3/5. 6 year old reports it was “a little bit small” but gives 5/5. Wife felt “was like a school camp motel” but still 4/5. Overall, a good result!"

"Will who manages the property was absolutely amazing at accommodating our needs.The property and its surroundings are beautiful and it's in a great distance to get to the grampians for the weekend. A huge 10/10 and recommend to anyone for a luxury weekend escape! "

"Lovely quiet setting and very clean. It’s a little dated though and it shows. Loose cupboard handles, toilet roll holder was broken and shower curtain could use an update. The pool was pristine and we enjoyed our lazy afternoon swimming."

"Loved the kangaroos. A pic of them posing was literally taken into consideration when looking for a place. As other reviews stated AC was in living room. Bedroom got hot when doors closed. Bathroom was good. Plenty of beds to choose. Kitchen was welcome though we didny get to use. We we disappointed we didnt get to stick around longer to enjoy the place and amenities."

"Stewart & Crystal are Father/Daughter proprietors of the Moonambel Resort. They are very accommodating & are a sociable, helpful pair. We enjoyed our stay & hopefully will return in the future. "
