"We loved the staff at Wilde so friendly and outgoing. We were less enamored with our rooms. Some things in both rooms we had didn’t function properly (blinds, lights, etc). Room was either freezing ir we had the heat off or felt like a furnace or we had it on. We also found that the “apartment” part of the room was not well utilized by us. "Edinburgh is all stairs so we expected it but worked hard to get to the top. Lol. Lovely flat with castle views as promised. Everything was tidy and organized. It was a very nice place even tho we weren’t there very long. I’d have liked a blow dryer for my hair but there were nice space heaters so it all worked out. "

"Virgin Hotels Edinburgh is a unique property in a great location with good facilities. The rooms are modern and clean but extremely small and our so-called castle view room looked out of the staircase of the building opposite with a distant view of Edinburgh castle if you stood in the corner of the room and looked diagonally through the small glass door! "I have stayed in many accommodations In Edinburgh but this has got to be one of my favs they thought of everything even down to a little magnet that covers the cooker digital click incase the light bothers you at night ! Room was beautiful and so clean alongside the amazing attentive staff this is a property I will most definitely be visiting again "

"The flat was in a quiet area just a few blocks from Grassmarket Square which has lots of pubs and restaraunts. We were here for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the flat was a short walk to most of the venues. Just around the corner from the flat on Spittal St is the Blue Blazer (a lovely neighbourhood pub for a night cap), and The Source Coffee to get you going in the morning. We would definately stay here again."

"Great location, entry is simple and as these are proper apartments, there is no noise from neighbours etc. Spacious apartment with Hive heating, all facilities you would expect also. Would happily stay here again."
