"Cosy retreat, away from the hustle and bustle. Simplistic but everything we needed. Beautiful walks. Great and safe for our elderly dog who enjoyed the freedom. Good location to visit lochs etc."

"The tea towel for drying dishes was absolutely stinking of dampness, obviously wasn't clean! There was no kitchen roll so had to use one of the bath towels - it also had dirty marks on. Restaurants can be busy at weekends so consider booking. Ospreys at Threave Castle must see. Red kite viewing at Bellymack Farm also essential. Loch Arthur farm shop and cafe great for lunch or coffee break.
