There were tiny ants crawling in my room. The staff could not speak enough English when we needed to discuss certain details. They would not give me a receipt for my records when I checked out. My Spanish is intermediate. The staff were very professional and polite.

I had my wife staying with me. She wasn’t going to arrive until the night, which wasn’t the problem. I had her sister come to the hotel so i can get my hair done. I had to put her as a guest so that she was allowed upstairs. Her sister left after about a hour once my hair was done. My girlfriend has arrived now. Of course we went out for drinks and food. As we get back security stopped us and made us check in which isn’t an issue. They told me I’d have to pay $65 extra dollars every night she stays. I was so confused. Even after i told the staff member this is my wife and it will only be her i was still charged. He looked me in my face and laughed. He said i see American men like you all the time. I know what kind of man you are. I’ve never felt so disrespected. And this is in front of my wife! I didn’t even stay at the hotel. I only went there at night to get my stuff and in the morning for a quick breakfast. We had to book another hotel down the street while i was still paying for this one. I wouldn’t even come back to this hotel for free! There’s a reason it has so many bad reviews. There were other issues i faced that I’ve seen other people mention but this was something i never expected or experienced.

In general I loved the hotel, the cleanliness was spectacular, the attention was very professional, highlighting the following people, Orlando at the front desk super friendly always there for us, Mrs. Natividad at the Mesanine with the breakfasts super nice and attentive; The people who cook Diego and Ariel a delicious seasoning; On the other hand, at the Bar we were served by Over, Mateo and Luis Eduardo, always with a smile and super friendly. And the New Year's Eve was spectacular. The cleaning people always saw different people, but my room 408 was always very clean. I will return to this place without a doubt. A 100 in everything. For us it was a very central place, Uber service super easy and it was not far from the places I visited by the way less than 10 minutes from the airport.

I had been enjoying the service at the hotel until I realized that my HP laptop charger was stolen. To ensure I wouldn’t notice, it was swapped with a Chinese brand charger. Unfortunately, I only noticed this when I got home, as I didn’t need to use my laptop charger during my stay at the hotel. I always left it in the closet, under my clothes, which means the person who cleaned the room went through my things and put them back exactly as I had left them. I’m extremely upset to have been a victim of theft inside the hotel, which obviously reflects very poorly on the staff. Not everyone may be bad, but the simple fact that one person entered the room assigned to me, went through my belongings, and then swapped the charger, shows the premeditation of the act. I hope the hotel takes appropriate action regarding the staff responsible for cleaning that room during my stay. Me habia gustado el servico del hotel hasta que me di cuenta que me robaron cargador de mi laptop HP y para que no me diera cuenta lo intercabiaron con otro de marca china. Desafortunadamente me di cuenta al llegar a mi casa, porque durante mi estadia en el hotel no tuve la necesidad de usar el cargador de mi laptop. El cual siempre deje en el closet del hotel, debajo de la ropa, lo que quiere decir que la persona que hizo la limpieza de la habitacion reviso mis cosas y las coloco tal cual yo las habia dejado.

I really enjoyed my experience at Wyndham Garden. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The free breakfast was one of my favorite parts. It’s very complete and you can get a fresh omelette. Also, the food at the restaurant is yummy. I tried the ceviche with patacones is delicious.

A Basic Airport Hotel: This hotel primarily caters to travelers arriving or departing from the airport. While its proximity to the airport is convenient, the lack of shuttle service is a significant drawback. Ironically, Uber fares to the hotel are higher than those to the walled city, despite the shorter distance. Room and Amenities: The rooms are compact in size. Cleanliness was questionable, with a noticeable stickiness on the floor. The breakfast offered was satisfactory. The hotel's location near the beach is a definite plus.
