What the accomodation lacks in modernity, it more than makes up for in size of rooms, cleanliness, the MOST comfortable beds, facilities (including a pool and steam room) and self catering amenities. But what sets this place apart, is the most incredible breakfast - we have never had such choice and quality!!! The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff also deserves a big mention. "Perfect location if arriving by train. We had a fantastic welcome and Sandra was very nice and clearly took pride in the property. The gite was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We walked to the old city with our 11 year old in about 25 minutes. The old city is magnificent! Having the cafe downstairs for breakfast was really easy. If we come back to Carcassonne we would hope this apartment was available."
