"We had a lovely couple of nights here whilst we explored the surrounding Stellenbosch area. We were travelling with our baby and nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff - they had thoughtfully put a mosquito net over the cot they had set up for her and there was a high chair ready and set up every morning when we came down for breakfast - we really appreciated these touches. The property is a beautiful little oasis with a pretty garden and pool. There are also helpful amenities...

"Great location right in the centre of Stellenbosch with free parking and a great breakfast. Staff were super helpful and really pleasant. The property itself is showing some signs of wear & tear and probably needs a bit of money spending on it to ensure it doesn’t slip down the list!"

"While the place is handsome and well kept, there are serious issues that I encountered that were reported here by others. The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great...

"I had a wonderful stay at 22DieLaan and would recommend it gladly. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and efficient and friendly and welcoming -they even sent out for glue and repaired my earing for the function I needed to attend! The room was spacious and very well equipped, very clean and luxurious combined with an old Cape atmosphere with carefully selected antiques. Well done and thank you!!"

"This is a great self catering apartment. Its 5 minutes walk from the main street in Franschhoek, set in a quiet residential area. Our host, Brian, had taken the trouble to recommend a local restaurant and even booked us a table where we could enjoy the magnificent sunset overlooking the valley. He has also done some enviable research into the local vineyards, restaurants, etc, and left his personal guide in our apartment for us to look through. Full use of the garden and pool, were invited and...
