"Horrible motorcycle noises with parking lot outside window. No toaster. Awkward check-in done via automation and no easy to use. Prefer in person check-in. Little shelving in bathroom for personal items and towels Too few clothes hangars. Not exactly spotless. Dust and dirt. Very small table for eating. Really could not use at all. Microwave was confusing to use and no instructions for grill option. Great that safe was included! Convenient location. Iron & ironing board included."

"The Parador in Nerja is one of our favourite places in Spain. We have stayed there twice and we always visit either for a drink or a meal even when we are not staying there. Everything is perfect. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the garden, sea and mountains is magical. It is so relaxing listening to the sound of the sea and taking in the scenery. We will return before the two year closure in October 2025. Thank you for a brilliant time."

"This place is amazing. As a traveling Nurse I can afford high class hotels but prefer exploring different styles of stays. It was eco friendly, loved the comfort of the bed, fridge, large towels, huge shower and TV. Beautiful view from the rooftop as well as my balcony. Beautiful library and áreas to sit and relax. "We enjoyed our stay. The hostal was quiet, but that may be the time of year, which suited us. Its very convenient for access to the town centre and beaches. Staff friendly and helpful when we locked our keys in the room. We did not have a kettle or somewhere to keep nibbles which would have been nice. "

"We have just returned following a lovely long weekend in Nerja. 5 ladies travelled for a girls mini break. We had 2 bedrooms in Hotel Toboso Chaparil. A double and a triple room although the double also had 3 beds. The hotel is in a excellent location. Only a short stroll to beach and main town square/area. The main town is all pedestrianized so no cars. Cars are allowed on road outside hotel but you wouldnt even know as it was so quiet at night even with one of our rooms at street level. The...

Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff. "
