"All of the staff were extremely friendly, we also got a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse which was deluxe. The pool and lounge area were clean and comfortable. A great place to stay in Belize City. Right on the water, but easily walkable into down town."

"We loved our time at Shaka Caye. It was a dream come true, perfect for swimming in the ocean, kayaking & relaxing. We enjoyed watching a family of dolphins from the restaurant balcony while eating breakfast. We went snorkeling, booked a day trip to Alton Ha & the midnight cave, went deep sea fishing, Day trip to Caye Caulker where we petted nurse sharks, fed the tarpon, saw stingrays & enjoyed the shops & restaurants. "Nice staff, tranquil, good food. Check in late is at 4pm. So if just an overnight may not be convenient if you want to sleep and shower after a plane ride. You can use the pool and services though. "

"We loved everything about our stay. Shawn, the manager, was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Dymon, the Chef, cooked the most filling and delicious meals! Our Captian was so kind. Erminia is funny and delightful! Rondey educated us on all the sea life when we went snorkeling. Our room was enormous and comfortable. We felt like home. It was so lovely and I cannot wait to go again. "
