"One of the better hostels in LA. Prompt response from host. Easy check-in as long as you upload ID. Mostly clean expect the fl of female dorm bathroom. Only one bathroom for female dorm. Nice, well-stocked kitchen w/several pots, utensils etc. Only an uncomfortable bench available for indoor seating. Can't sit on the patio chairs in the back b/c of discarded cigarettes all over the ground & guests throw things from patio. Mostly long-term residents there. Wifi not the best."

"We didnt get to stay. Property manager would not answer my call so we had to pay for another hotel to stay at. Very unprofessional "

"People are respectful of privacy and are welcoming. The breakfast was very appreciated, the lounge was relaxing as one plans for their day, and felt safe during my stay not just at the hotel, but in LA in general. Good amount of amenities and showers were very nice."

"It was pretty comfortable to stay! But there are fewer restaurants around the accommodation. Also, for those who stay longer, you should buy some beverage beforehand because you will be given just one bottle of water, and it seemed there were no water servers in the building. Otherwise, there are no other problems, so overall, it was a good stay!"

"We had a great stay. This hotel is right in the middle of everything! We loved the location on the beach and the easy walk to Venice or Santa Monica. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. They even offer the guests towels and beach chairs if you would like to go the beach. The rooftop patio was a great place to sit and watch everything from the skatepark to the surfers to the busy walkways. "
