"Overall, the hotel was great. Very busy dining, but no problem with obtaining food on first night. However, on second night it took one & a half hours to get food (only starters ordered). The main problem was communication. No-one told us that they had a big party in & it would take a considerable time to get our order. Even after an hour, when I went to see where our food was, the issue was not handled very well. The kitchen & front of house need to communicate better."

"A picturesque inn, in a beautiful area. Staff made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped through the door. Throughout our stay, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy room with spacious bathroom. Meals were excellent. Chefs are first class and every meal cooked to perfection. Quality food. A hearty breakfast provided a great start to our days. Beware! No guarantee of free parking
"Room, staff, location and food were great. The description of parking on Hotels.com was misleading. I filtered search results to show only hotels with "free parking" because this was crucial for me. On the basis that there was free parking I booked this hotel. Immediately after making a non refundable booking i received an email advising that free parking is not guaranteed. I replied stating that the description clearly said "free parking", I was directed to the "at a glance" section which does mention that parking space is limited but, in my opinion, if i filter for "free parking" I should only see hotels which actually have free parking. The car park is very small. I arrived at 230pm and there were only three spaces. Since i was able to park everything was cool but hotels.com needs to adjust the listing to more accurately reflect the true parking situation."
