Due to room not being heated to continual heat level There was mould in the bedroom and bathroom- if the heating was kept on or even small...

"We stayed in February this year and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was spotless and we had a huge bathroom. We just wanted a weekend away and it was perfect, we had a few ideas about what we wanted to do and where to eat but the hosts were really helpful with their suggestions. Saw lots of birds in the garden whilst we were eating our breakfast :) Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. "

"The Royal Oak is a traditional pub with a relaxed atmosphere while still being well organized. Our room was clean and very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. As for the staff, they were charming and went that extra mile to make us feel welcome. Thank you."

"I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good. The peacocks were amusing,...

"This is everything a B&B should be. It's charming and delightful. The host and hostess are wonderful and a delighted. They host a very complete breakfast. And the decor as well thought out. I truly enjoyed my stay there and wish I had stayed a few more days. It's located very convenient to a lot of the sites in the area."
